Bentley Systems, 9th Floor, 20 Gracechurch Street, London EC3V 0BG, London,
Creating virtual assets in a digital world is allowing us to make smarter decisions based on more reliable information. Our railways, roads and cities need to deliver services that allow nations to grow and societies to prosper in a sustainable and environmental world. This can only be achieved by constantly driving innovation and investing in the people, processes, and technology required.
The Future Infrastructure Symposium looks at how the industry is leading the way, supported by academia and innovative technology companies, by researching and applying best practices and lessons learnt from major projects globally. Over two days you will hear from leading industry experience coupled with sponsored university researchers and technology companies, about how they are tackling the challenge.
You will also hear from those involved in encouraging Future Professionals – with exciting programs for infrastructure curriculums for schools, and colleges started in the UK, and about to lead the world by example.
Key presentations include:
• The city of Helsinki talking of the experience of their Digital City journey
• Centre for Digital Built Britain on the West Cambridge Digital Twin project
• Mott MacDonald, WSP, Kier & Architects RSHP present the Future
• Alison Watson MBE – Future Infrastructure Professionals – sons and daughters!
The Future Infrastructure Symposium will be set within displays of University Innovations and Research, looking at new ideas, and meeting PhD students and researchers addressing key problems for future infrastructure.
