Join members of GPBUG at their final User Group meeting of 2019! New and existing users are invited to join us for one, or both, of the presentations at Bentley's Headquarters. Snacks and a light dinner will be provided.

HANDS ON WORKSHOP - Optimizing Subsurface Utilities in OpenRoads Designer

This hands-on workshop introduces you to the capabilities of Subsurface Utilities (SU) in OpenRoads Designer. At the end this workshop, you will know how Subsurface Utilities can maximize your productivity while working on utility and drainage projects. The following topics will be covered in this workshop:

  • An overview of the drainage and utility capabilities of SU
  • How to create existing and proposed subsurface utilities
  • How to display the utilities in plan, profile and cross sections
  • Benefits of modeling utilities in 3D
  • How to detect and analyze utility conflicts
  • How to place above ground utilities
  • An overview of how to customize SU to fit your needs

LECTURE PRESENTATION - Maximizing Your Productivity Using Subsurface Utilities in OpenRoads Designer

This session will cover which projects are best suited for using Subsurface Utilities; in addition, this session will cover how Subsurface Utilities can capture important utility attribution that will be used throughout the project lifecycle. Examples of agency Subsurface standards will be explored during this session, plus dan will review the new and exciting improvements that are planned for future releases of Subsurface Utilities.
